Choosing the Best Photo
Your custom piece is only as good as the photo you upload. A couple of minutes here saves disappointment later — and helps your pet look incredible.
What makes a great photo
- Good natural light — soft daylight near a window beats flash.
- Shot at your pet's eye level — get down to their height.
- High resolution — the original photo, not a screenshot or a zoomed-in crop.
- Sharp, not blurry — make sure their face is in focus.
- Facing the camera or slightly to one side, with both eyes visible.
What to avoid
- Blurry or dark photos — detail can't be recovered.
- Taken from above — distorts their proportions.
- Screenshots — too low-resolution to print well.
- Awkward posture or face turned too far away.
- Eyes or features cut off / missing — we need the whole face.
